Indian Navy invites Online applications on prescribed recruitment form from unmarried Male Candidates for the following post of Sailors – for Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) (SSR 02/2021 batch) (2000 vacancies) and Artificer Apprentice (AA) (AA-150 batch) (500 vacancies) – Course Commencing August 2021.
- Sailors – SSR/AA: 2500 vacancies (AA-500, SSR-2000), Age: Candidates to be born between 01 February 2001 and 31 July 2004 both dates inclusive), Educational Qualifications: AA – Qualified in 10+2 examination with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India. (b) SSR – Qualified in 10+2 examination with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects: – Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India, Pay: During the initial training period they will be paid ₹14600/-PM, on completion of initial training they will be posted in the regular pay scale of Level-3 ₹21700-69100 plus allowances as admissible.
Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Computer Based Examination of 100 questions, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.
Candidates (except SC/ST candidates, who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of ₹205/- through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI
